THE SPAY/NEUTER INCENTIVE
PROGRAM (SNIP) is the backbone of the HSLC, as we believe in the protection
of our furry friends from overpopulation.
Our program works like this: Upon
request a voucher, which covers a portion of spaying or neutering costs,
will be sent to you. You are, however, required to be a paid member of
HSLC. You can then redeem this voucher at a participating veterinarian
clinic in Livingston
County. Most
vets do participate in this program, however, you may want to call us to confirm. This voucher is only valid for 60 days
from the day of issue, so we recommend that you schedule your appointment as
soon as you receive your voucher. Lastly, the voucher must be used at
the time of payment, and you should discuss this with your vet prior to
your pet’s surgery. In summary, For only $15.00 you can become a
member of HSLC, and you may receive financial assistance with your
spay/neuter surgery.
