The Humane Society of Livingston County, through education and caring, will work toward eliminating abuse and over-population of animals and aid in the prevention of their suffering within our community.
Join the Family of Foster Care
The HSLC is in dire need of foster homes for lost & stray animals waiting for adoption. Because there is no shelter for cats in Livingston County, we have to rely entirely on people willing to give these animals a place to stay temporarily and a chance at a better life.
If you would like to be one of those people, please send in our Foster Care Application or email us and someone from the Foster Care Committee will contact you.
If you are not able to provide a foster home but are still looking to help, please consider making a donation to the HSLC to cover spay/neuter costs for animals in foster care.

Pet of the Week
- "Moe" is a 4 Year Old Neutered Male . He was given to HSLC because his owner could no longer care for him. Moe is a very loving kitty.
